Life Rafts takes wildflower seeds collected from dried plants, embeds them in nutritious capsules—elk dung—and places them in sites with great potential energy—along an arroyo in Cebolla Canyon, New Mexico. Through the images of small rafts, we imagine the river flowing in the future and dispersing these seeds downstream to begin life again in some new place.
